Quebec City, Quebec – Tando Composites, a division of Derby Building Products, has named Justin Kavanaugh Regional Sales Manager for Canada. In this role, Kavanaugh will oversee Canadian sales, focusing on strengthening distributor and dealer relationships nationwide while supporting continued growth across Tando Composites’ product portfolio. Kavanaugh will play a key role in expanding the reach of Tando Composites’ flagship products, including Beach House Shake®, the authentic composite shingle, and TandoStone®, the #1 brand of composite stone.
Kavanaugh brings more than 15 years of experience in building product sales, leadership, and national account development across Canada. In his new role, he will oversee and accelerate market adoption of Tando Composites’ high-performance exterior cladding portfolio, supporting the company’s ongoing commitment to innovation, customer partnership, and market growth throughout Canada.

Familiar with category shifts, Kavanaugh previously served as Area Sales Manager for TimberTech, part of The AZEK Company, where he led sales planning and account development. In that role, he exceeded sales targets for two consecutive years, expanded dealer presence by 50% and collaborated closely with marketing and distribution partners to increase shelf space and brand visibility.
Kavanaugh also served as Branch Manager at Gentek Building Products, overseeing sales, operations and customer service. During his tenure, he increased branch sales by $10 million over three years and drove significant operational efficiencies.
Kavanaugh holds multiple professional sales and leadership certifications, including Situational Leadership II, Action Selling, and Customer Focused Selling.
